Colchester

Known as Britain’s oldest recorded town, Colchester was the first city and capital in Roman Britain. A location steeped in history, the town dates back over 2000 years. Now seen as a thriving, modern town, Colchester is also home to family favourite Colchester zoo.

Home to picturesque villages and only a few minutes from the coast, you’re sure to always find great places to eat and drink, making Colchester the perfect location for a short visit or day trip.

Chelmsford

Being the only city in Essex, you’ll never be short of things to do if you visit Chelmsford.

Whether you’re looking for a bit of T20 cricketing action, or would to immerse yourself in history at the Chelmsford Museum in Oaklands Park, there’s plenty to see and do.

What’s more, Chelmsford has plenty of shops if retail therapy is more your things, as well as a thriving nightlife.

Clacton-on-sea

Clacton-on-sea is full of traditional charm and home to the Clacton-on-sea airshow. Take yourself back in time for a fun day at out at the seaside, experience the fun of the fair or the award-winning seafront.
