Halloween Events in Kent

The 31st of October will mark Halloween and is the perfect time to get the family together for some spooktacular fun. We discuss some of the best Halloween events happening around Kent this autumn.

Leeds Castle

Get your cauldrons and broomsticks at the ready as from Saturday 22nd October to Friday 28th October, Spell School is running at Leeds Castle Witches and Wizards Academy. Take part in a fancy dress competition and a spooky trail through the castle. On completion of the trail a chocolate prize.

Kent Life Heritage Park Farm

From October 22nd to October 31st, visit snakes, spiders and scorpions and search for friendly ghouls as you take a tractor ride across the farm.

Additionally, there will be the chance to get involved with pumpkin carving and craft activities, a well as a fancy dress competition.

Maidstone Museum

Do you feel like diving into some cracking crafts this Halloween? If so, be sure to head down to Maidstone Museum between Tuesday 25th of October and Friday 28th of October. Tuesday’s session will be dedicated to creating a Halloween themed t.shirt, Wednesday will be your chance to craft a wonderful witch or wizard hat, Thursday a magnificent mummy and Friday will give you the opportunity to carve your own pumpkin.

Groombridge Place

Immerse yourself in this theatrical experience for all the family this Halloween between October 22nd and October 30th. Classic tales by the Grimm Brothers will be told by a cast of amazing actors with music and dance for everyone to enjoy.

What’s more, visitors will have the chance to step into a magical world in the Enchanted Forest in the Monster Mash workshop running throughout the day.
